Morning Commute
Every Morning I take the Broad Street Line to work. One morning, in particular, I was so sleepy and the air was so humid causing the station around me to feel like a movie rather than my normal morning commute. I decided then I wanted to make a comic panel diving into one of my mornings. I wanted to make something that felt awkward and mundane. I drew myself originally just drinking my coffee; however, I knew that didn't capture the atmosphere I felt that morning. So, instead, I drew grass and plants growing around me. This helped communicate the feeling of being stuck and grounded in a hazy routine.
